4+ YearsWe are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to design and build scalable services that power our digital products. You will be responsible for APIs, databases, integrations, system architecture, and the reliability of backend applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs.
- Design database schemas and data access patterns.
- Build secure authentication and authorization systems.
- Integrate internal services with third-party platforms.
- Optimize API and database performance.
- Write automated tests for backend services.
- Participate in architecture and technical design decisions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production applications.
- Review code and mentor other developers.
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Strong knowledge of at least one backend language or runtime such as Node.js, Go, Python, or Java.
- Experience designing REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of caching systems such as Redis.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Knowledge of authentication and application security.
- Understanding of distributed systems and scalability.
- Experience with Git and automated testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
